Work in Progress : Jaguar XFR-S

The latest and fastest XF to date, the Jaguar XFR-S packs a tuned V8 producing 542 bhp. This section shows some snapshots from the process of 3D modelling using Autodesk 3DS Max - setting up a spline cage, poly modelling of the body and the distinct Jaguar XFR-S Alloys. The later renders are using some unique Jaguar colours.

The initial stage was to create a 3D spline cage from the plans. This gave a set of 3d splines that could act as guides in th eperspective viewport and compliment the 2D plan views. This proved to be a very good way to create a good set of guides.
